Four Corners Dunkin’ Donuts Grand Opening Features Orlando Magic’s J.J. Redick

Grand Opening also features Osceola County Commissioner Owen, Orlando Magic Dancers; $500 Donation to benefit Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, a fund of the McCormick Foundation


Champions Gate, FL (August 28, 2008) – Dunkin’ Donuts, America's favorite everyday, all-day stop for coffee and baked goods, will celebrate its grand opening in Champions Gate in Osceola County (7571 Osceola Polk Line Road – Off Exit 58 of Interstate 4, east to the Osceola Polk Line Road/Lake Wilson Road intersection) on Saturday, September 6 with an appearance by Orlando Magic Guard and former first round lottery pick J.J. Redick. Redick, who played at Duke University from 2002-2006 and is the Atlantic Coast Conference’s all-time leading scorer and scored a career-high 18 points in the Magic’s final regular season game of 2008 versus the Washington Wizards, will be signing autographs and taking pictures with customers from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Autographs are free; one item per person.

The grand opening is being celebrated by an “Open House” style event from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. featuring the opportunity to sample delicious oven-toasted products developed by the Dunkin’ Donuts Culinary Team. The event also features a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. with Osceola County Commissioner Paul Owen and an appearance from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. by the Orlando Magic Dancers.

Additionally, as part of the excitement surrounding the restaurant’s opening and as part of his commitment to giving back to the community, franchisee Manoj Prasad will be presenting on-site a $500 donation to the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, a fund of the McCormick Foundation. OMYF is committed to helping every child in Central Florida realize their full potential, especially those most at risk, by supporting programs and partnerships that empower families and change lives.

Prasad, who has been a franchisee since 2003, is planning to open six more locations in the metro-Orlando area between now and 2010 including a location in Poinciana.

The new location features dozens of varieties of donuts, baked goods and world-class and beverages. Some of the exciting menu items created by Dunkin’ Donuts’ culinary team for customers to enjoy throughout the day include:

• Made-to-order oven-toasted flatbread sandwiches available in six flavors: grilled cheese; turkey, bacon & cheddar, ham & Swiss, Southwest chicken and the brand new egg-white Turkey Sausage and egg-white veggie.
• Personal-sized, portable pizzas topped with cheese, veggies or pepperoni & sausage
• An array of breakfast sandwiches, oven-toasted to ensure fluffier eggs, crisper bacon and toasted breads
• Bite-sized Hash Browns
• Warm baked goods including a variety of freshly made muffins, croissants and gourmet cookies
