After spending last season with the New Jersey Nets, Maurice Ager will attempt to earn another NBA roster spot by displaying his athleticism at the guard position. Ager is known for his knack at getting to the rim and ability to create his own shot. He has the capability to get in the mid-range and make plays and is also a decent catch-and-shoot spot-up guy.

Lance Allred
Few players – check that people – possess a life story as inspirational as center Lance Allred. His recent book release “Longshot: The Adventures of a Deaf Fundamentalist Mormon Kid and His Journey to the NBA" focuses on – among other things – the trials and tribulations he faced to become the first legally deaf person to play in the National Basketball Association. While his determination was a huge factor in achieving that outstanding accomplishment, Allred also possesses some natural basketball talent. He's an effective scorer in the low post and has the ability to use both hands to finish. He's an above average pick-and-pop player and can shoot from 17-18 feet out. He's a solid rebounder – he averaged almost 10 rebounds in the D-League last season with the Idaho Stampede – and has a knack at getting to the glass.

Ryan Anderson |
Ryan Anderson
If you believe Ryan Anderson was just a toss in as part of the Vince Carter trade, you're dead wrong. The Magic made sure the second-year player out of the University of California was included in the deal for a number of reasons. He has great hands and is an above average rebounder, who shoots the ball well with range. He's a good pick-and-pop player and also flashes tremendous versatility – he can play the three or four, depending on the matchup. His excellent outside touch also allows him to stretch the floor well against opponents.

After stints with the Utah Jazz, Miami Heat and the NBA D-League’s Los Angeles D-Fenders, point guard Brian Chase finds his way on to the 2009 Orlando Magic summer league roster. The former Virginia Tech standout is a quick guard, who not only shoots the ball well, but can also make plays for others. At just 5' 10 Chase is on the smaller spectrum of point guards. But he’s known as an exceptionally tough individual, who competes bigger than his size.

Ronald Dupree
There's a reason that Ronald Dupree keeps finding his way on to NBA rosters. He possesses good size at the forward spot and can play multiple positions. He can play and guard the two, three and sometimes four if necessary. He does all the little things, including rebounding and defending. His versatility also allows him to post smaller threes. He has a reputation around the league as a good teammate and all-around player. He's not known as a great perimeter shooter, but he's a solid slasher, rebounder and defender.

It's really simple to see why rookie Courtney Fells finds his way on to the 2009 Orlando Magic summer league roster. Not only is he a sensational athlete and can defend multiple positions. But he also has a good body for the shooting guard spot and is an excellent perimeter shooter. Sound like qualities that fit Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy's system?

Levance Fields
Looking up and down the 2009 Orlando Pro Summer League rosters, it’s hard to find another player who personifies a true point guard more than Levance Fields. In his senior year with the Pittsburgh Panthers, Fields dished out a school single-season record 270 assists. He possesses good leadership qualities and is noted for his ability to run a team. He also obtains great strength and toughness. But his claim to fame comes from the endless number of big plays he made for Pitt.

C.J. Giles
C.J. Giles is another power forward on the Magic's summer league roster, who is really long and athletic. He runs the floor very well and is a pretty good shot blocker coming from the weakside. He’s also improving as a shooter. This past season in the D-League, he expanded his offensive game to include a 15-16 foot jump shot, when available. In addition, he continued to develop his back-to-the-basket game. He’s active and gets to the glass and is able to generate offensive in that manner, along with being successful out of the pick-and-roll.

Richard Hendrix
If there's one NBA player that Richard Hendrix draws comparisons to, it's the Pistons Jason Maxiell. Although he might not be quite as athletic as Maxiell, he does possess a similar body type. He has a big frame, really long arms and a long wingspan and uses that to rebound the ball very well. He's effective at attacking both ends of the glass. And is known as a space-eater inside due to his huge body. He's a good high-low player and has a solid basketball IQ.

Stevan Milosevic
One of the least known players on the Magic's 2009 summer league roster, Stevan Milosevic looks take advantage of his chance in the NBA spotlight this week. He's made his basketball mark thus far as a European inside player. Although he can drain little hooks and stuff inside, he's regarded strictly as a post-up type of player, executing with his back to the basket. He's really long, will block some shots, rebound and simply play hard. Orlando is looking forward to seeing more of him in person this summer league.

Jeremy Pargo
If the name sounds familiar, it should. Yes, Jeremy Pargo is the brother of former NBA player Jannero Pargo, who recently bolted overseas to play for Russian Super League team Dynamo Moscow. But the 6’2” point guard is viewing the 2009 Orlando Pro Summer League as opportunity to make a name of his own. While at Gonzaga, Pargo stood out as a phenomenal athlete and really good defender. He was also noted for his ability to get in the lane and make plays. He possesses good court vision and has the necessary size and body type to play his position at the NBA level.

When it comes to breaking down Kasib Powell's game, it's simple; he’s a scorer. However, he's one that can do so in a variety of ways. He puts the ball on the floor very well and can make plays for others out of the pick-and-roll. The knock on him and what’s possibly kept him from permanently locking on to an NBA roster is the consistency in his perimeter shooting. But that's been one of his points of emphasis while working in the D-League.

Milovan Rakovic
Originally acquired by the Orlando with the final selection of the 2007 NBA Draft (via Dallas), Milovan Rakovic will finally have the opportunity to display his skill-set in a Magic uniform. Although he initially came over from Russia the year he was drafted, a back injury prevented him from playing. Now he'll get the chance to showcase his competitive, hard-nosed attitude and aggressive style of play that drew Orlando's attention. Along with his desire to work hard on both ends, he can play well in the pick-and pop game. He excels in a system where he can shoot a 15-foot jumper and also play down low with his back to the basket.

Jeremy Richardson is the lone member of the Orlando Magic's 2009 NBA Finals roster to find his way into the summer league lineup. Russell Robinson
Russell Robinson has always been known as a tenacious on-the-ball defender. But after spending the 2008-09 season with the Reno Bighorns, he’s developed as an all-around point guard and aims to emerge from the 2009 Orlando Pro Summer League as another D-League success story. He’s an extremely quick player, who has improved as a shooter. During this past season with the Orlando Magic’s new D-League affiliate, he drained 37 percent of his shots from 3-point range, up five percent from his career average at Kansas.

After the 6'10 forward from Arkansas didn't here his name called in the 2008 NBA Draft, Darian Townes spent the 2008-09 season honing his skills with the NBA D-League's Erie BayHawks. While there, he improved his ability at using his size to simply get the job done. He has the reputation as a tough, inside player, who will go out of his way to do the dirty work. He not only uses his body well, but can finish through contact. He obtains a nice turnaround jump shot, but is deemed purely a low-block guy.
